System introduction(Description) :

It is a real-time, online, constantly temperature monitoring system and a high-tech product which gathered photoelectric signal monitoring and computer technology as one. The features are real-time monitoring, high accuracy, long distance measurement, accurate location, intrinsic safety and resisting electromagnetic interference.

Technology Principle:

DTS utilizes the Raman effect to measure temperature. An optical laser pulse sent through the fiber results in some scattered light reflecting back to the transmitting end, where the information is analyzed.

The intensity of the Raman scattering is a measure of the temperature along the fiber. The Raman anti-Stokes signal changes its amplitude significantly with changing temperature; the Raman Stokes signal is relatively stable.

The position of the temperature reading is determined by measuring the arrival timing of the returning light pulse similar to a radar echo. This method is called Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR).

 Accuracy: Sample interval is 0.5m, temperature resolution is 0.1, temperature accuracy is ±1℃, position accuracy is ±0.5m.  

● Good compatibility .

 The system output way are RS232, RS485, built-in relay, RJ45 and other industrial agreement which connected with PC, fire alarm system and other control equipment to realize sound and light alarm, output signal exactly.

The software was designed by Weitan’s technician with multiple windows operating system. It is  easy to operate which support a keyboard or touchscreen operation, and it can realize the following functions:

● Real-time data collection and storage of the temperature of monitoring area.

●Real-time display the temperature distribution curve and the changing curve of temperature from monitoring area.

●Every area can set three types of alarm: Fixed temperature alarm,  temperature rise rate alarm, area temperature difference alarm.

●It can be separated into many monitoring zones according to the length of measurement. It can be set key area monitoring area to realize differentiation monitoring.
